For those of you in the Midlands/Yorkshire area, I want to give a plug for a conference being held at Lincoln University next Saturday (3rd March).
Details can be found here Melissa Benn is going to be our key note speaker, and will include workshops led by teaching professionals, governors, union officials and parents.
If you want to join us please feel free. It will be a great opportunity to hear great debate to counter the propaganda from the DFE spin machine.
This sounds interesting. Could you let us know who the speakers are and what their different views are. Who from DFE and pro academy groups are coming? Have you invited any politicians? Is this going to be open debate as you suggest?
This summit sounds interesting. Could you let us know who the speakers are and what their different views are. Who from British Medical Association and Royal College of Nursing are coming? Have you invited any dissenting politicians? Is this going to be an open forum as you suggest, or will you leave yourself open to ridicule and charges of pandering only to self interested groups?
Dear Guest (Toby?????) We did consider inviting them and thought about it carefully . But the overwhelming consensus was the heads and governors were sick to the back teeth of hearing the DE and academy sponsor propaganda and wanted a session that was not a sales pitch. They were really very keen to hear from us, lowlife bunch of Trots that we are. I assuming you aren't coming then.

Pedalling hypocrisy is just plain wrong.
Do you agree?
I think you are best qualified to answer that by example, Guest
