Cutting the cost to schools of teacher recruitment with free-to-use website

Recruitment of teachers is expensive and not always successful.  In September 2017, the National Audit Office  surveyed school leaders and found schools filled only half of their vacancies with teachers with the required experience and expertise.  In around 10% of cases, schools didn’t fill the advertised vacancy at all.

Advertising school vacancies is expensive.  Using a recruitment agency is even more costly.   And at a time when school budgets are being squeezed so tightly they can hardly breathe, any help to reduce spending is welcome.

That’s where TeachVac can help.

TeachVac was launched in 2015 to help schools find teachers and teachers to find vacancies.  And it’s free.

All schools, teachers and trainees need to do is register.
