Who is holding Michael Gove to account?

In my view, no-one is properly holding Michael Gove to account. Parliament should be examining in full the costs of his actions, the pace and extent of change in education.

I am a parent of a 4 and 6 year old, and I teach History in a state secondary school. I am horrified at Michael Gove's approach to educational policy, which seems to be based on anecdotal and personal experience, and I believe he is compromising children's education and futures. He claims to want to restore public confidence in the education system, yet continuously undermines it, the teaching profession and the achievements of millions of students.

I have started an e-petition to call on Parliament to hold him to account and to demonstrate that he has lost public confidence.
