Mr Gove's been warned not to repeat distorted data - but he keeps on doing it

Mr Gove hadn’t even got into his stride during yesterday’s Post 16 debate before he was repeating the slur about UK education having slipped down international league tables in the last ten years. He knows the 2000 figures have been discounted by the OECD . He knows that the OECD has warned against their use. And yet he still uses them while ignoring the positive TIMSS 2007 . He constantly deceives the House and us, and the ConDems are complicit in this misrepresentation.

How long will it be before the Prime Minister tells the Secretary of State to stop misusing statistics in this way?
