Involved in the private English as a foreign language market in the UK. Interested in both sides of the coin.
Work in a fee paying school as a manager, which caters for 16+ English as a foreign language market. About 600 students split roughly 50:50 between EU students and those from outside EU.
Most students pay out of own or family's funds, some students are sponsored by non UK state organisations. School receives no public money except: some training grants, some UKTI grants for export assistance.
Currently waiting to become a state school governor.
