The schools crusade that links Michael Gove to Rupert Murdoch

Very interesting

The brave new world where Murdoch controls our media, our politicians and our schools.

Note also this article was written before the appalling evidence yesterday at the Levinson enquiry and the revelations from Charlotte Church.

It is clear now that neither of the Murdochs are fit to run a public company, let alone be let near the education of any the nation children's. They are criminals and should be treated as such by any decent person.

Mr Gove will be behind Murdoch, his papers and his academy, all the way. Expect lots of articles in the Sun about Gove being the next PM. Just think of it - a Prime Minister in cahoots with a media tycoon that runs a huge section of the British media AND wants to get a foothold in English schools.

Won't go down well in Liverpool. But then perhaps the man tipped by obsequious Murdoch journalists to be the next PM will target this city for a managed decline.

Funny cartoon by Martin Rowson commenting on the launch of the Sun on Sunday. Unfortunately, it's a bit small when viewed on the internet so I can't make out what's written on the loo paper. It's also difficult to identify the people in the bushes or peeping out from behind the classic column. However, I think the Latin motto over the golden shrine reads "Lies hidden by the stars of the sewer". Perhaps someone could offer a better translation - it's definitely something to do with lies.
