What is really worrying about this is the lack of publicity. If it were not for my reading about this on this site I would know nothing about it and yet it appears to be happening in my area!

This is undemocratic. This is treating Lincolnshire people with contempt.

However, Lincolnshire councillors should watch out. A small group of us were discussing the Channel 4 programme Dispatches shown on Monday 14 March about out-sourcing. All were angry. Perhaps when parents get wind of what their Councillors are doing behind their backs they might start complaining.

I have submitted a Freedom of Information request to Lincolnshire County Council to release all documentation, including Minutes of Meetings, about the proposed mass conversion of schools to academies. The full wording can be found here:

Janet - can I ask where in Lincolnshire you are? I am desperate to get a county wide campaign going and would love as many contacts as possible. If we could make contact that would be great - I do have lots of info regarding the county council
Thanks
Sarah
