There are definitely going to be thousands of redundancies at schools. This is because the funding for specialisms is going into a central pot for schools. In effect, the funding for specialisms is disappearing and heads are going to have the discretion about using money as when they like. I know of schools where teachers are definitely going to be made redundant. Thousands of "specialist" teachers will be made redundant in the coming years.
