I am deeply grateful to the students and staff of my children’s school for providing such a stimulating, nurturing environment

Schools in Merton are hugely handicapped by the existence of grammar schools in nearby boroughs who are keen to cherry pick the most academic pupils whilst ignoring students with special needs. The staff however refuse to allow this to be a problem. They have high expectations for ALL the children in their care and work tirelessly to help students achieve their full potential. My rather privileged children have benefitted hugely from being introduced to a wide mix of students. They have a much wider circle of friends and some understanding of the challenges that some of their friends face. I am deeply grateful to the students and staff of my children’s school for providing such a stimulating, nurturing environment that has helped prepare my sons for adulthood.
